To Make/Receive Calls

Making calls from your phone

Use the same simple method to make all your calls - wherever you are in the world, and wherever you are calling to.

  1. First enter a プラス sign (see your phone’s user guide for how to get the + sign on the screen).
    (WIth most Nokias, press Asterisk twice quickly. If this does not work, try pressing and holding 0)
  2. Then enter the number you wish to call, in the following format:

eg. Dialling a Japanese landline (03-4550-1525)

プラス81 3 5777 2668

eg. While in Japan dialling a Japanese mobile 090-5555-3333

プラス81 90 5555 3333

eg. Dialling a US number (888-634-8226) from Japan.

Dialing to your World cell phone

Regardless of where you are in the world, callers always use the same number to call you. For example, if they are calling you from the US they should use 011 44XXXX XXXXXX
