SMS E-mail

You can use AT&T's SMS feature to send emails from your phone.

You can send up to160 words. If you send more than 160 words, your message will split into multiple messages.

What is my SMS email address?

Your SMS email address is (Your cell phone number without country code 1)@txt.att.net

.

For example) If my cell phone number is [1 (Country Code) -646-1234567]
→My SMS email address is "6461234567@txt.att.net".

Sending an SMS email with 3G handsets (Nokia 3120 C, Nokia2730 C)

Create your SMS email as you would create an SMS message but enter Email address, space, message in the message body text.

1. Select "Menu". 2. Select "Messaging". 3. Select "Create message".

4. Select "Message". 5. In "To:" enter 121 or36245 6. Move down to "Text：" and enter email address, space, message.

7. Send your message by pressing the select key.    

Sending an SMS E-mail (Nokia 2610)

Create your SMS email as you would create an SMS message but enter email address in "To:".

1. Select "Menu". 2. Select "Messaging"→"Create message" 3. Select "Text message".

4. Enter the email address to send the message to in "To:"

If the email address is stored in "Contacts", select "add"→"Contacts" to choose the cell phone number.

5. Move down to "Text：" and enter your message. 6. Send your message by pressing the select key.

Notes

How you send a SMS email is different between handsets. If you cannot send an SMS email successfully, please try the methods below.

  1. Select [Menu]→[Messaging]→[Message settings]→[messages]
  2. Select [E-mail message centers] and enter "121" in [Server number] and "＋13123149810" in [E-mail Center no.].
