You can send short text messages to other cell phones.

You can send up to 160 words in one text message. If you send more than 160 words, your message will split into multiple messages.

Sending an SMS with 3G handsets (Nokia 3120 C, Nokia 2730 C)

1. Select "Menu".	2. Select "Messaging".	3. Select "Create message".
4. Select "Message".	5. Enter the cell phone number to send your message to in "To:" If the cell phone number is stored in "Contacts", select "add"→"Contacts" to choose the cell phone number.	6. Move down to "Text：" and enter your message.
7. Send your message by pressing the select key.

Sending an SMS with Nokia 2610

1. Select "Menu".	2. Select "Messaging"→"Create message"	3. Select "Text message".
4. Enter the cell phone number to send your message to in "To:" If the cell phone number is stored in "Contacts", select "add"→"Contacts" to choose the cell phone number.	5. Move down to "Text：" and enter your message.	6. Send your message by pressing the select key.
